English Lavender
English Lavender
The most important flower that we planted when we moved to our house was English Lavender which we added it to most of the borders and beds. We love its wonderful aromatic silvery grey-green leaves that are crowned with a sea of fragrant blue flowers in mid to late Summer, when it becomes a magnet to bees and other pollinators.
No matter what time of year you brush up against it, Lavender releases its heady aroma, even its seeds are full of its scent. No wonder that we us it as one of our primary fragrances. We use it in products ranging from diffusers, candles, lotions, gels and fragrant sachets. This remarkable fragrance is reputed to promote a great night’s sleep, freshen linen and clothes with the added benefit that moths detest it. Why not hang a sachet of lavender in your wardrobe?
